How refunds, cancellations, and order disputes are handled across RankFactory's digital products, paid resources, and advertising placements.
Overview
RankFactory ("RankFactory," "we," "us," or "our") is a digital marketing content and publishing platform. We are not a service agency, and we do not perform marketing work on behalf of customers. What we sell falls into three categories: digital products (downloadable reports, templates, and course access), paid PDF resources distributed alongside select editorial content, and advertising placements sold to brands targeting our audience.
Because each of these is a distinct type of purchase, this policy sets out separate terms for each. By purchasing anything through rankfactory.co, you agree to the terms below in addition to our Terms of Service.
In short: digital products and paid PDFs are sold as final sale due to their instantly downloadable nature. Advertising placements follow the cancellation terms in this policy unless your insertion order states otherwise. Billing errors and duplicate charges are always corrected.
Digital Products & Templates
Some editorial content on RankFactory is accompanied by a paid PDF — for example, an extended report, worksheet, or data set attached to an article. These follow the same final sale terms as our other digital products.
Paid PDFs are non-refundable once purchased, as the file is made available for download immediately at checkout.
If a PDF you purchased is corrupted, fails to deliver, or doesn't match its product description, contact us — see Section 06.
Newsletter Subscriptions
RankFactory's newsletter is currently offered free of charge. Refund terms in this policy do not apply to newsletter subscriptions, as no payment is collected for standard subscription access.
If RankFactory introduces a paid newsletter tier in the future, this policy will be updated to reflect applicable billing and cancellation terms, and the change will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
Advertising Placements
RankFactory sells advertising space to brands seeking to reach our audience of marketers and business owners. Advertising purchases are treated differently from digital products, as placements are typically scheduled, reviewed, and published rather than delivered instantly.
Cancellation before placement goes live
Advertisers may cancel a booked placement for a full refund if the cancellation request is received before the ad has gone live on the site.
Cancellation after placement goes live

Custom or negotiated placements
Advertising packages booked under a separate insertion order, media kit agreement, or custom contract are governed by the cancellation and refund terms stated in that agreement. Where a conflict exists between this policy and a signed insertion order, the insertion order controls.
Exceptions & Billing Errors
Regardless of product type, we will correct the following if they occur:
- Duplicate charges — if you were accidentally charged twice for the same order.
- Incorrect charges — if the amount billed does not match the listed price at checkout.
- Failed or corrupted delivery — if a digital file fails to download, is unreadable, or does not match what was purchased.
- Unauthorized transactions — if a charge was made without your authorization, subject to our standard verification process.
To report any of the above, contact us within 14 days of the transaction date using the details in Section 10. We'll review the order and, where the issue is confirmed, issue a correction or refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
How to Request a Review
If you believe your situation falls under one of the exceptions above, or you have a question about an advertising placement cancellation, here's what to include when you reach out:
- Order number or transaction ID (found in your confirmation email)
- Email address used at checkout
- A brief description of the issue
- For advertising placements: the campaign name and scheduled or live date
Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund — each case is reviewed individually against the terms in this policy.
Chargebacks & Disputes
We ask that you contact us directly before filing a chargeback with your bank or card provider — most issues can be resolved faster this way. If a chargeback is filed for a purchase that falls under our final sale terms (Sections 02–03) without first contacting us, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback and provide evidence of delivery and these policy terms to the payment processor.
Accounts with a pattern of unresolved chargebacks may have future purchasing access restricted.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time, including to reflect new product types such as a future paid newsletter tier. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of rankfactory.co or future purchases after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
