Gen Alpha looks different mainly because so much of the cohort is still very young. Estimates vary by survey, but roughly half of Gen Alpha overall isn't on social media yet at all — a figure dragged down heavily by toddlers and young children, over half of whom have no presence on these platforms. That changes fast with age: by eight to ten years old, fewer than a third are non-users, and usage climbs sharply from there.
